Making a good top 10

Give the list a title, then fill the rows from the top. Notes are optional: one line on why something made the cut is often the part people read. Empty rows are skipped when you export or copy, and the numbers close up, so a list of seven is fine.

Reordering. Use the up and down arrows on a row, or drag the grip handle. The arrows work with a keyboard and on any screen; the cursor stays on the row you moved. Add rows up to 25 for a top 20, or remove them down to three for a top 3.

Export. Download PNG draws the list 1,080 pixels wide with gold, silver and bronze for the top three and the first line of each note, a size that suits most social posts. Copy as text gives a numbered list for chats, emails and documents.

Questions

Is my list saved?

Yes, in this browser's local storage, as you type. It is not uploaded anywhere. Clear list empties it.

Can I make a top 5 or a top 20?

Yes. Remove rows down to three or add them up to 25. If you leave the title empty, the picture is titled “My top” with the number of filled rows.

Why is my note cut short in the picture?

The image keeps one line per note so the rows stay even. The full note is kept in the list and in the copied text.
