# About Pinnacle Meadow

Small, free tools for putting things in order, from snacks to summits.

## What it is

Pinnacle Meadow is a set of ranking tools. The [tier list maker](https://pinnaclemeadow.top/) sorts text or pictures into tiers you can rename and recolour. [Pairwise ranking](https://pinnaclemeadow.top/pairwise-ranking/) orders a list from your answers to “A or B?” questions. The [top 10 list maker](https://pinnaclemeadow.top/top-10-list-maker/) builds a numbered list with notes, and the [templates](https://pinnaclemeadow.top/tier-list-templates/) give you something to rank straight away.

## How it works

Everything runs in your browser. Your lists, items and pictures are never uploaded: they are kept in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB on your device, and the PNG pictures are drawn on your device too. Once a page has loaded it keeps working without a connection. There are no accounts, cookies or ads.

## Fair play

The templates are plain text written for this site, with no brand names or borrowed pictures. If you add your own pictures, use ones you are allowed to share before posting the result.

## Built carefully

Every tool can be used without a mouse: anything you can drag, you can also move with buttons or the keyboard. The pages are checked against the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines for contrast, focus and labels, in light and dark themes.
